Our Chapter will meet jointly with the North Carolina A & T State University SME Student Chapter for a program on Nanotech Manufacturing. Activity in this rapidly growing field will no doubt affect everyone – particularly those of us in the manufacturing professions. Manufacturing in the nanometer realm is somewhat mind boggling to those of us who have always practiced our profession in millimeters, microns, inches, mils etc. This program is designed for those generally outside the nanotech field who would like to explore applications, methodology, opportunities, etc.
Included in the program will be responses to a number of specific requests and recommendations from some of our A&T Student Chapter members about what they would like to learn from a presentation on Nanotech Manufacturing.
