Overview: Ingersoll
Rand - Mocksville manufactures Utility Equipment
(portable compressors & generators and light towers) and air compressors
for the Air Solutions division (rotary screw and centrifugal compressors).
The site started in 1965 and has 495K sq.ft of floor space. We have about
800 employees. The fabrication and machine shops run 24/7.
We will tour the
fabrication shop (punch presses, press brakes/folding
machines, welding and paint) and the Precision Machine Shop (rotary screw
machining, cast iron machining and Airend assembly).
